Walk the Kokoda Track with a purpose.
Have you wanted to walk the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea? Would you do it if you had a reason to?Why not walk the track and raise money for World Hope Australia as well? Make the experience twice as meaningful by visiting sights where our fathers and grandfathers fought during World War 2 and also by saving lives of innocent chilren with the funds you raise.
The details
Dates: Next year - September 8th to 18th 2012
Cost per person: Trek package + airfare approx $5,500 to $6,000
Plus a commitment to raise a minimum of $3000 for World Hope Australia
The tax deductible funds raised would go to assisting in World Hope Australia's Education project in PNG and to our Centre for Girls in Cambodia.
This trek would be run through a very reputable experienced company called Free Spirit Adventures and you can read about them here.
We need at least 15 members to make up a team. You will need to start saving and fundraising and training, so I am keen to hear from anyone who is seriously interested in joining this adventure with a purpose. Email me if you want to join the team
