No More Traffick

Trafficking in persons, particularly in women and children, is the modern day slave trade. It is a multi-billion dollar business and the third largest criminal industry next to trafficking illegal drugs and weapons. The international Labour Organization estimates that global profits from forced labour and trafficked victims reaches $44.3 billion every year. An estimated 27 million people held captive around the world at any given time, are forced into sexual slavery, labour, domestic servitude, armed conflict, begging networks, or bought and sold for their body parts.

In an effort to combat human trafficking World Hope Australia sponsors projects in Sri Lanka and Cambodia providing after care for victims of sexual exploitation and empowering women with marketable skills enabling them to earn an income with dignity.

You can help by donating or by becoming a $10 per month member and assisting us to fight against human trafficking.
