Walk for Action

This July, Hills Women will be putting their feet into action and walking to raise money and partner with World Hope International to support Ukrainian refugees. Each individual will be setting a target number of kilometres to walk (or run!) and tally up their total across the 31 days in July. We can’t wait to see the distance we will go as a community! We would love your support. Please consider a dollar amount per kilometre to help add motivation to get moving, or feel free to commit a specific donation amount.

Help Today

Join us and give a gift of hope and help the refugees that have fled the invasion of Ukraine.

Light up the darkness with a gift of hope and help today!

World Hope International is working with global and local partners in response to the invasion of Ukraine and the outflow of refugees into neighboring countries.

With Ukraine under full attack right now, over half a million refugees have fled the country to friendly surrounding borders, including Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Moldovia. Women and children, infants in arms, and the elderly are making long and arduous treks to safety with what little they could carry with them.

As the local and global response to the invasion evolves, our response is likely to continue to evolve to ensure that basic needs – such as water, food, protection services, and more – are being met and that those who have fled- as well as those who have stayed behind so far, have access to hope and help. Your gift today makes this possible.

We will post updates as the situation and our response evolves.

Thanks to all the donors who made this resource possible!

World Hope International had the opportunity to distribute 3000 MyMedic first aid kits and train over 400 first responders in Odesa, Ukraine. These kits include emergency response equipment designed to stop bleeding, stabilize fractures, seal open chest wounds, clear compromised airways, and care for burns and other medical emergencies.  This training and supply will save a life in Ukraine.
