Country Overview
About Cambodia
In Southeast Asia bordered by Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam you will find Cambodia. Low-lying plains, low mountains, and great rivers make up the landscape of the Asian Country. The monsoon climate creates prevailing winds bringing heavy rains and high humidity from mid-May to early October. From December to April, Cambodia experiences sunny, dry weather. The monsoon weather can bring both floods and draughts within the same year. Cambodia is a destination for tourism which is its second largest source of income for the Cambodian people.
Drinking tea, playing sports, and attending fine art events are common pass-times for the Cambodian people. Community is important to Cambodians and village life has been the preferred way of life for these people. After a long time of political instability, the country of Cambodia has begun to rebuild and create a stronger government and economy. Consider joining us as we learn about the culture, create community, and see life-change happen. Scroll down to learn more about our upcoming vision trips to Cambodia.
