WHI: What drew you to World Hope International?
“World Hope international has such a varied and exciting approach to community development using programs and innovations that can change lives all over the world. I love the diversity of the projects and the openness to make vital and effective impact in communities in tailored, sustainable and unique ways. I also appreciate the fact that building partnerships is a core foundation of all their projects, working locally and on a global scale, bringing like-minded people and organisations together for lasting impact. With its organic humble beginnings, I love being able to really connect with the projects World Hope is investing in and getting to learn about the team working hard on the ground making these projects come alive.”
WHI: What is one of the stories from World Hope’s work that impacted or influenced you?
“I am really excited by the stories coming out of our Australian funded Mushroom house projects in Cambodia. It is so encouraging to hear the stories of established projects making real difference to families and local communities through this simple and innovative idea.”
“The chance to give new skills, see families stay together and communities build foundations for a future is such a great outcome.”
WHI: How would you encourage donors to connect with the work World Hope is doing globally?
“It is so encouraging to hear the stories of established projects making real difference to families and local communities through this simple and innovative idea.”
“Go and find out more, explore the information that is on the website, read the Facebook posts and see just how many diverse projects there are that you can get behind.”
“I would encourage you to think about a trip to one of the projects to see the amazing work happening first hand and reach out to someone on the World Hope team to see how you can get involved, what programs get you excited about the work that is happening and how you can help.”
